5 THINGS YOU MAY NOT KNOW ABOUT PROTECTING YOUR CHILDREN FROM SKIN CANCER
Skin cancer in its deadliest form, melanoma, is on the rise and this relates to children of all ages.
1. Babies: Cases of pediatric melanoma have increased 100% in the last 20 years! (Michigan State Medical Society)
Almost everytime I'm outdoors, I see babies or small children in their strollers with their faces and heads unprotected from the sun. And while I do notice more small children than ever with hats on their heads, there seem to be triple that amount without.
All it takes is a little awareness to keep a hat on and to make sure the back of the stroller is to the sun. When 80% of the sun's damaging UV rays happens in the first 18 years of life, parents can give the gift of life twice ... once giving birth, and the second protecting their skin.
2. Teens: 2.3 million teenagers (part of 30 million Americans) use tanning beds. Ultraviolet rays are the primary factor in developing skin cancer and are 15 times greater in a tanning booth than outdoors. Up until now, there have been very few warnings about health risks in tanning salons.
Finally, legislators are trying to change that. 25 states across the country want to restrict youth access to indoor tanning facilities. In addition, if passed, this legislation would require parental consent for anyone under 18, along with the listing of potential health consequences in these salons, and licensing by the state.
This is a potentially life-saving public issue and any help parents can give both at home with their children and in their support of their representatives can only help save lives.
3. Women ages 20-29: They're adults but they're still somebody's children. Melanoma is now the second most common cancer in this age group.
While it is best to get kids started early on the habit of using sun protection, better late than never. you know how to talk to your children best, but if you see a tan on your daughter, you might ask how she came to it...beach? tanning salon? Or, fake tanning lotion which of course would be Choice No. 1 other than, perhaps, no tan at all.
4. African-American or Asian children: The risk for melanoma isn't as high as with Caucasian children, but it can be more deadly because a lesion or irregular mole can't be seen as easily.
Talking with them at all ages about sun protection and teaching them what to look for is and examining them regularly is vital.
5. The perfect tan. For years, the perfect tan was looked at as the way to look healthy, attractive, thinner (believe it or not), and possibly even rich (if you have time to lounge in the sun, you really must be well off). And the warmth of the sun feels good. There's no doubting that.
The perfect tan is still sought today. Lines form around some of the more popular tanning salons, grown women included.
But now we have information we didn't have. Irrefutable information. It's hard to ignore it and worse, later on, if we're one of the unlucky ones, what do we say to ourselves - and our families? It's just a little extra effort for potentially a longer and healthier life. Is the perfect tan worth losing all that?

Steps to Setting Up a Colon Cancer Screening Test
* Schedule an appointment to see your family doctor. They can listen to any symptoms you may be experiencing and advise a colon cancer screening test such as a digital rectal exam. From that they can make a judgment. It's is also a good idea to schedule one anyway as a part of a routine check up.
* Sit down with your doctor and go over all available options. Some of the more screening methods include tests such as a colonoscopy, virtual colonoscopy, DNA-based stool test, sigmoidoscopy, fecal occult blood testing and a double, contrast barium enema. These all can be recommended for you to undergo.
* Find a gastroenterologist close to or at least a physician specializing in the gastrointestinal system. They can perform a colonoscopy for you. You are better off finding a specialist for this since this test is a little more invasive than the other screening options.
* Have a colonoscopy performed if begin to feel some of the symptoms of colon cancer. Symptoms of colon cancer usually mean that you are well past the screening stage. Your doctor should start a diagnosis process instead. If your earlier screening tests came back positive, then your doctor should schedule another colonoscopy.
* Be aware of any and all risk factors associated with colon cancer. Most doctors recommend anyone over the age of 50 to have a colonoscopy performed at least once every three to five years. There are other screening tests which can be given annually but thats because they are less invasive.
* If you or anyone in your family has a history of cancer, polyps or irritable bowel syndrome, then it is a wise decision to be tested at an earlier age and not wait till your 50 especially if you have a lifestyle which puts you at risk. When your doctor talks about an at risk lifestyle, he is referring to a diet low in fruits and vegetables, smoking, alcohol and lack of exercise. These can all increase your risk of developing colon cancer.
* So you can see why living a healthy lifestyle is so important and why you need to exercise more as well as eat better. All of these things will significantly lower your risk of developing colon cancer right from the start. If you are one of those who fall under the unhealthy lifestyle, it still isn't too late for you to change your ways.

Green Tea Found To Fight More Kinds Of Cancer
A Japanese study involved nearly 50,000 men between 40 years old and 69 years old, tracking them for 14 years. Each of the men had prostate cancer, but those who drank 5 or more cups of green tea a day cut the risk of their cancer progressing in half.
The other men in the study drank one cup of green tea a day or less. The study was done by the National Cancer Center of Tokyo. They say it is the first study to show that green tea inhibits the growth of prostate cancer so it does not spread.
The catechin in green tea may have fought the growth of the cancer cells and it may have reduced testosterone, another thing that could have cut off the cancer cells, since testosterone encourages their growth.
The main antioxidant in green tea is epigallocatechin gallate (EGCG) and is known for doing the heavy lifting in fighting cancer. The antioxidants are able to destroy oxidants like free radicals before they can damage cells.
Another Japanese study showed that drinking only 2 or 3 cups of green tea can slow a receptor which produces lung cancer cells. So drinking green tea can fight the spread of lung cancer as well as prostate cancer.
Green tea has also been shown in other studies to help fight the spread of breast cancer and gastric cancer. In addition, green tea boasts a host of other health benefits, like increasing metabolism.
Green tea increases metabolism and fat oxidation in those who drink it. Of course, if you want even faster fat oxidation then you can drink some oolong tea, which is the fastest fat-burner of all the teas.
And green tea makes you more alert in a way coffee just can not do. Tea contains L-theanine, an amino acid that goes into your brain when you drink tea and calms you down and makes you more alert at the same time.
The results of one study showed that tea drinkers (of black tea) produced much more anti-bacterial proteins in their blood than coffee drinkers, up to 5 times more. That shows that the immune system response is increased with drinking tea.
Other studies have shown that cognitive impairment in the elderly is reduced by drinking green tea. And studies have shown that tea drinkers have lower levels of the stress hormone cortisol.
The polyphenols in tea have been shown by one study to combat bad breath by killing the bacteria that cause it. But there is one little drawback to drinking tea, including green tea: fluoride.
The tea plant Camellia Sinensis absorbs a higher amount of fluoride from the soil than does any other plant. Fluoride is poisonous for people. The more mature the leaves of the tea plant, the more fluoride is found in them.
But in spite of the fluoride (if you are really worried about it switch to the healthier white tea) tea, especially the common green tea, is a food which many studies have shown is good for your health.
When you are sealed God will show you how to start taking care of your health. One of the things you can do is switch from coffee to tea, perhaps green tea. You will still get caffeine but less of it.
And that will help you fight cancer if you ever develop any of it. Tea drinking is one of the enjoyable ways to preserve your health, among the ways God will show you when you receive the Seal.

What Does a Diagnosis of Prostate Cancer Mean?
Being diagnosed with cancer is a life-changing experience. It requires you to start making some hard decisions that can affect your daily life in significant ways for many years to come.
If you or someone you love has been diagnosed with prostate cancer, you'll be faced with a number of different therapy options, all of which might be equally effective, but each of which also has its upsides and downsides.
More than 200,000 men in the United States will be diagnosed with prostate cancer this year, and each and every one of them will need to make very personal and individualized decisions about which treatment might be right for him. Do I undergo? Treatment? If yes, which treatment? Surgery? External radiation? Radiation seed implantation? Hormones? Chemotherapy? Or is active surveillance the right choice?
In this Chapter, we'll review the basic background material you need to know about a diagnosis of prostate cancer.
We'll talk about PSA (prostate specific antigen) and Gleason score, which factors might be important in determining outcomes and prognosis, and, most importantly, we'll talk about why you need to surround yourself with a team of prostate cancer experts, comprising a wide variety of practice specialties, to help you find the path that's right for you.
Making Sense of the Diagnosis
If you're like many other men who are diagnosed with prostate cancer, you went to your doctor for a routine check-up and had a PSA and DRE (digital rectal exam) to screen for prostate cancer.
Something irregular showed up, and your doctor sent you for a biopsy. Then, a few days after the biopsy, you were told that prostate cancer was found. Or, you might have noticed changes in your urinary or sexual function and asked your doctor about it. Then, after a full work-up, including a biopsy, the diagnosis of prostate cancer was made. But what exactly did the doctor looking at your biopsy see? Why is it important for you to know what your tumor cells look like? After all, cancer is cancer, right?
In fact, the way your cells look under the microscope can tell a lot about your disease, and will often drive some very important decisions about treatment options. Under normal conditions, your prostate cells, just like all other cells in your body, are constantly reproducing and dying. And each new prostate cell that grows has the same shape and appearance as all of the other prostate cells. But cancer cells look different, and the degree to which they look different from normal cells is what determines the cancer grade. Low-grade tumor cells tend to look very similar to normal cells, whereas high-grade tumor cells have mutated so much that they often barely resemble the normal cells. The Gleason grading system accounts for the five distinct patterns that prostate tumor cells tend to go through as they change from normal cells. The scale runs from 1 to 5, where 1 represents cells that are very nearly normal, and 5 represents cells that don't look much like prostate cells at all.
After examining the cells under a microscope, the pathologist looking at your biopsy sample assigns one Gleason grade to the most common pattern, and a second Gleason grade to the next most common pattern. The two grades are added, and your Gleason score, or sum, is determined. Generally speaking, the Gleason score tends to predict the aggressiveness of the disease and how it will behave in your body.
The higher the Gleason score, the less the cells behave like normal cells, and the more aggressive the tumor tends to be.

Gallstones and Cancer- Naturally Dissolve Gallstones and Lower the Risk of Cancer
Your body is trying to tell you something!
If you have been to the hospital you probably have been diagnosed with Acute Cholecystitis (an inflamed gladder) which is caused by gallstones forming inside one of your bile ducts. And you might already be scheduled for a gallbladder surgery to permanently remove the organ.
But did you know that if you suffer from gallstones or you remove your gallbladder, you are increasing your risk of cancer. Gallstones and cancer are linked. But you can naturally dissolve gallstones and lower the risk of cancer with some simple health tips.
Gallbladder Surgery Leading to Cancer
Before you make the dreaded trip to the hospital you should know two things. One is that 80% of gallstones can be dissolved and pass painlessly with a natural treatment. And the second thing is that gallbladder surgery increases your risk of bowel cancer! However, you will never hear your doctor telling you about this.
Without your gallbladder, bile will drip continuously into your digestive system. This constant dripping will usually result in diarrhea in most people while your body adjusts to the missing organ. And lastly, removing the gallbladder may lead to high blood cholesterol levels which can be a fatal years after the surgery.
Gallstones Increase Risk of Some Cancers
If you are suffering from this disease, you are running a higher risk of cancer than the average person. It has recently been found that gallstones are associated with significantly increased rates of gallbladder, bile duct, and ampulla of Vater cancers, according to the British Journal of Cancer.
Due to the seriousness of gallstones (organ damage), most doctors recommend getting your gallbladder removed which increases your risk of bowel cancer. However, if left untreated, you could be at risk of cancers of the biliary tract. Here are some facts from the study.
About 70% of patients with biliary tract cancers suffered from gallstones.
An estimated 80% of gallbladder cancers, 60% of bile duct cancers, and 40% of ampulla of Vater cancers can be contributed to gallstones.
Is cancer serious? Yes! Are gallstones serious? Yes! But there is another option than surgeryĆ¢€¦ You can naturally dissolve gallstones and lower your risk of cancer with a natural treatment.
Naturally Dissolve Gallstones
Here are five easy tips to begin a natural treatment to dissolve and pass them in less than 24 hours. And the best news is, if you have cholesterol based gallstones (80% are cholesterol based), you do not need to have your gallbladder removed.
Begin with the basics!
1. Flush your body! You can begin your treatment with a water flush or a water-soluble fiber (fruits and vegetable) flush. This will allow your body to flush thousands of toxins and impurities which be part of the cause of the problem. We recommend trying this for 2 to 3 days depending upon your health condition.
2. Take Vitamin C! This vitamin has been effective for decreasing the risk of gallstones. Vitamin C is used by the body to convert cholesterol to bile acids. With less cholesterol and more acids, the gallstone risk is drastically decreased. You should take 1000 mg of Vitamin C three times per day.
3. Your diet! After your body flush, it would be recommend you begin your prevention program. You should immediately begin to avoid fatty and fried foods. Here is a quick list of foods to avoid that our natural health doctor suggested: eggs, pork, onions, fowl, milk citrus, corn, beans and nuts.
4. Staying active! If you didn't get the memo, "staying active has over one thousand benefits and counting!" You should finally get that fitness membership and start working out today. I recommend to my customers at least 20 minutes of cardiovascular (walking, biking, and elliptical) per day and weight lifting at least three times per week.
5. A liver, gladder and colon cleanse. If you have food in your cupboard and fridge, you can most likely cleanse your liver, gladder and colon in one day. To learn a step-by-step cleanse, please visit our website.

Red Meat Connected to More Kinds of Cancer
This was a large study--500,000 people were followed for up to 8 years, both men and women. It classed people into groups based on how much red meat they ate in a week.
Those people who ate the most red meat were found to have a greater risk of getting cancer. And not just colon cancer. But they were also more at risk for lung cancer, liver cancer, and esophageal cancer.
It is not completely understood why red meat and also processed meat are linked to cancer, or how they increase the risk. There are a few theories about what it could be.
One theory is that people who eat a lot of red meat may also have some other risky habits or lack of habits, like smoking and lack of exercise. This could explain why red meat seems to be causing cancer when it is not really understood why.
This study confirms another large study--a European study of 500,000 people. And plenty of studies show you should go easy on the red meat, replacing it with fruits and vegetables, healthy fats (like those found in fish) and enough fiber.
There are certain conditions which affect how much red meat is not good for you. What is the tipping point? It depends. For example, how you cook the meat determines how healthy or harmful it is for you.
If you grill meat over an open flame or charcoal, it is the most harmful for you. That produces the most cancer-causing elements of any kind of cooking. Pan-frying a regular hamburger (without burning it) is not nearly as bad for you.
Health professionals do not recommend you cut out red meat entirely but that you limit your consumption of it. Any more than 3 hamburgers a week are not good for you anymore, but if you are eating fast food, even 3 times a week is too much.
It is not known whether organic red meat is any less likely to cause cancer. Studies have not been done on it. And not all "organic" meat is up to code as far as quality and conditions of farming.
But organic red meat is a better bet for some of the reasons mentioned. For instance, healthy fats can be found in organic, or grass-fed beef, which contains a lot of Omega-3 fatty acids and conjugated linoleic acid or CLA.
Another example is the amount of fat in grass-fed beef. It is much lower than regular grain-fed beef, as much as 50 percent lower. Eating grass-fed beef can actually lower your LDL cholesterol since it is so low in fat.
Lower amounts of the unhealthy fats are better for you . And grass-fed beef is high in Vitamin E which fights cancer. However, if you grill the organic meat over an open flame it is still not good for you.
When you are sealed you will begin to notice what you eat and how it affects you. When you become more healthy you will also feel better, and you will start to notice how what you eat changes the way you feel.
Becoming sealed is belonging to God. When God claims you He will give you good health in many areas, but He expects you to help Him by doing your part and watching your diet when you receive the Seal.

Reishi Mushroom Kills Cancer And Almost Every Other Ailment
The University of Haifa in Israel reported on Friday December 14 2007 that the reishi mushroom can be used to fight prostate cancer. They found that the reishi mushroom "attacks the cancer cells directly."
The reishi mushroom, Ganoderma Lucidum, was a rarity found only in the wild until only the last quarter of a century when the Japanese have been able to cultivate them as a crop.
The University of Haifa says the reishi mushroom gives hope that a medication will be developed out of it that could fight prostate cancer. Fighting cancer is just one in a long list of health benefits the mushroom offers.
Called Ling Zhi in China, the reishi mushroom has been an important medicinal plant for the Asians for millennia. In the wild it grows upon rotting plum trees and only occasionally on some oak too.
Now it has been cultivated and extensive tests have been done on it to find out just how valid all its numerous health claims are. And many of the benefits are a ceratainty.
The reishi mushroom is an adaptogen, meaning it helps the body fight stressors like fatigue, anxiety, or trauma. It is never toxic to someone who eats it. It is non-specific meaning it protects against multiple stressors.
And as an adaptogen it is also normalizing, meaning it normalizes the physiology of the body in spite of the "norms" the stressor is trying to introduce. And it lowers anything hyperfunctioning in the body while increasing anything hypofunctioning.
The reishi mushroom is considered an effective prevention, not just a cure for disease, and is said to have the ability to prevent almost all of the most common diseases, like heart disease, diabetes, and arthritis as well as cancer.
LDL is the bad cholesterol in your body, building up on the walls of your arteries. It is implicated in heart disease and has caused many heart attacks. The reishi mushroom is said to lower your LDL, or bad cholesterol.
The reishi mushroom is also said to cure and prevent pain from headaches and stomach aches, and also be useful in curing and preventing back pain. If pain is caused by stress, as mentioned earlier it eliminates stress too.
It also is effective in treating asthma and influenza and the common cold. It will eliminate the coughing that is the symptom and even work on the underlying illness.
It works for insomnia, and while you are getting your body sleep, it helps treat your skin and cures and prevents hair loss too. The Asians used it for thousands of years also to treat liver problems.
When you are sealed you begin to take care of the health of your body. And you learn about these natural (or indeed spiritual) wonders of God's creation. He has given you just what you need to prevent and cure most illness.
When you are sealed God will show you that it is His Will to help you fight disease and give you a longer and better Life. And it is always His Will to give you another chance when you receive the Seal.

6 Steps That Help Conquer Cancer
1) Alcohol: Continuous heavy drinking can depress the body's immune system, and is a major contributor to mouth, breast, and liver cancer. The usual rule of thumb should be--no more than 1 drink a day for women, and no more than 2 a day for men. This being said, binge drinking should be avoided at all costs.
2) Poor Eating Habits: Bad diet choices can ultimately rob your body of vital nutrients, which aid in retarding cancer cell growth. Some diets have also been known to contain foods that are cancer promoters. Steer clear of all processed foods, and instead embrace diets that advocate large quantities of fresh fruits and vegetables.
3)Tobacco: FACT- ALL tobacco products are now known to be cancer causes, not just the traditional whipping-boy, cigarettes! Pipes, cigars, and yes, cigarettes contribute heavily to mouth, throat, and lung cancers. Chewing tobacco leads to mouth cancer, and smoking lends a not-so-helping hand in causing other types of cancer as well.
4)Toxins: Can all toxins somehow be avoided? Not really, but an excellent strategy involves limiting exposure to things that are known to be unhealthy. If you're not sure of the risk factor of items that are a part of your daily routine, then research of those items should be in order.
5)Stress: If you are plagued by constant stress, then your immune system is ripe for a breakdown, which in turn may lead to your body being unable to combat cancer. Learn to practice self-relaxation techniques, and should those fail, then there are several programs available that offer hands-on approaches to guidance.
6)Exposure To Sunlight: Research has shown that overexposure to sunlight can cause skin cancer, and contributes to other cancers as well. Too much ultraviolet light has been thought to weaken the body's immune system, preventing it from fighting cancerous cell growth.
When it comes to dealing with cancer, knowledge of its triggers and of ways to deal with them is a formidable weapon indeed. As it is with so many other obstacles, the worst enemy is the fear of cancer itself. And the best antidote for that fear is preparation, information, and foresight.

Increased Cancer Risks Associated With Working The Graveyard Shift
It is estimated that about 20 percent of the work force in technologically developed countries work the night shift. One of the first people to spot the night shift-cancer connection was Richard Stevens, a cancer epidemiologist and professor at the University of Connecticut Health Center. In 1987 he published a paper suggesting that there may be a a direct correlation to light at night and breast cancer.
Stevens says, "suspiciously, the incidence of breast cancer rates shot up, starting in the 1930's, where industrialized cultures considered it advantageous to progressively increase one's income".
At the time of Steven's first observations, most medical research scientists considered the link, between light at night to increased breast cancer rates, to be pretty weird and wacky. However, over the last 20 years, ongoing research on this disturbing news has continued. There is some compelling evidence that indicates that men working the night shift may also have an increased risk of developing prostate cancer.
It is also interesting to note, that in laboratory research studies with test animals, evidence of the light at night theory, supported Steven's original idea. When light/dark schedules were purposely disrupted, the animals developed more cancerous tumors and died prematurely.
Since the 1980's, the cancer connection to artificial light at night has received quite a bit of attention. There seems to be enough evidence to support the notion that there is a questionable pattern of increased cancer rates in night, and rotational, shift workers.
If you are a night worker do not panic, and determine that you simply must abandon your current job for personal health safety reasons. Also, consider that these ongoing studies are only one small piece of evidence to a very large puzzle. There are many other risk factors involved in developing cancer. In all fairness, other known cancer risks should also be evaluated into this equation as well, like:
1.Lifestyle choices such as exercise habits, substance abuse problems, or drug addictions 2.Daily dietary food and beverage intakes. 3.Sleep deprivation problems such as insomnia and depression. 4.Amount of exposure time that bare skin has a chance to connect with UV sunlight rays, and vitamin D levels. 5.Amount of emotional stress levels in relation to unresolved personal issues.
All of those key factor risks, and many others, as well as a wider variety of test subjects need to be extensively studied. Most of the current, light at night research studies, so far, have only been performed on the nursing profession and airline crews.
What researchers are suggesting, though, is that there seems to be a rather complicated system, of some sort, to lower levels of melatonin and serotonin in correlation to rotational, and night, shift workers. Melatonin is a endocrine system hormone produced by the pineal gland that helps induce sleep, and is gradually released after dark. The pineal gland is located deep in the center of the brain behind the center point in the forehead between the eyes, and is known to have a reaction to sunlight exposure. It is believed that sunlight exposure coming in through the eyes for approximately 20 minutes a day, without contacts, eyeglasses, or sunglasses appears to play an important role in the releasing of melatonin.
Clearly, when normal sleep/wake (also called circadian rhythm) cycles are interrupted with artificial lighting at night there may be a steep health price to pay, for the sake of earning a living. Long-term supplementation with melatonin is not advisable, either, as it may eventually interfere with your body's ability to produce it on its own. Use, instead, one of melatonin's safer precursors like L-tryptophan or 5-hydroxytryptophan (5-HTP). Be advised , that L-tryptophan is only obtainable by prescription, however, do not let that intimidate you as it is only a simple amino acid.
As an employer you may consider it financially necessary to use night shifts to voluntarily maximize your company's profits. But, you may also want to consider employee medical health insurance liabilities, and productivity, too. There might just possibly be lower health insurance rate incentives offered for installing healthier, natural spectrum lighting systems in work station areas, This may help you save even more money, by lowering your energy costs as well.
If you are a rotational, or night, shift worker, sleeping in a darkened room is a must. Do whatever it takes to eliminate, or reduce, light from entering your sleeping environment. You can also improve the quality of your sleep by learning how to practice better sleep hygiene habits. Visit the mercola natural health website and type in the search box, '33 secrets to a good nights sleep'.
Above all, listen to your body, if working after dark is causing you various health problems, pay close attention! Treat your symptoms with care, put in for a shift change, or find another job.

Understanding Breast Cancer
Breasts are made up of fat and gland tissue. All glandular tissue in the breast is made up of individual cells that reproduce under the control of hormones. Sometimes this process goes out of control and an abnormal cell develops. This is the beginning of cancer.
Cancers of the breast usually start in the cells of the milk ducts.
Up to 20% of all cancers diagnosed in women are breast cancers. Nine out of 10 women who go to their doctors with breast lumps have a benign disorder, not cancer. Normal changes associated with the menstrual cycle can make breasts feel lumpy.
Age of Onset
The risk of breast cancer increases with age. Most women who are diagnosed with breast cancer are more than 45 years old.
Risks and Causes
Most women with breast cancer have no high risk factors.
One high risk factor is a prolonged fertile period, i.e. the first menstrual period at a young age and the late onset of menopause. A woman who has menopause at 55 years has twice the risk of a woman who has menopause at 45 years.
Women who have never been pregnant also have a high risk of breast cancer. Getting pregnant for the first time after the age of 30 also increases the risk. On the other hand, breast-feeding protects against breast cancer.
Hormone replacement therapy after menopause may increase the risk but is effective against many other diseases. These issues should be discussed with a gynacologist before embarking on hormone replacement therapy.
Between 5 to 10% of all breast cancers are associated with genetic factors. The genes BRCA1 and BRCA2 have been identified and may be associated with breast cancer. But not everyone with the abnormal gene will develop breast cancer. Testing for these genes is not widely available as yet.
Symptoms and Signs of Breast Cancer
About 80% of women with breast cancer first consult their doctor with a symptom they notice themselves. The most common is a breast lump. Sometimes the nipple may be increasingly puckered or there is change in the appearance of the skin on the breast, such as redness or the appearance of pits, like orange peel. There may also be a discharge from the nipple.
Lymph glands of the armpit may also be enlarged and appear as lumps.
In advanced stages, breast cancer can spread to the liver, lung, bone and brain. Abnormalities in these organs may also be present.
Diagnostic Test
A suspicious lump is subject to a mammogram, an MRI scan or a biopsy.
A mammogram is a x-ray examination which helps to define the extent of the lump. The examination can be slightly uncomfortable as the breast is compressed against a metal surface to obtain a good x-ray image. A mammogram is sometimes combined with a scan of the breast to determine if the lump is mainly solid or cystic, i.e. filled with liquid only.
A biopsy removes some tissue from the breast lump. This may be done in the clinic under local anesthesia. The tissue is sent to the pathologist, a doctor who examines the tissue under a microscope to see if the tissue is cancerous or not.
Once cancer is diagnosed, other tests such as chest x-rays, scans of the liver and bones may be required to determine if the cancer has spread to other parts of the body.
Treatment of Breast Cancer
Surgery is almost always required to treat breast cancer. The aim is to conserve the breast if possible. This is done by wide excision, i.e. the removal of the cancer with an appropriate amount of surrounding tissue. When this is not possible the total removal of the affected breast and the underlying muscles, i.e. mastectomy, is required. Lymph glands under the armpit are usually removed, at the same time.
Cancer cells left in the remaining breast tissue may cause the cancer to recur in the breast at a later date, i.e. local recurrence, therefore, radiotherapy may be necessary after surgery. Radiotherapy to the chest where the breast was, for 5 to 6 weeks may cause temporary side effects such as skin redness.
Radiotherapy is almost always mandatory if only a wide excision of the cancer is performed.
Chemotherapy aims to prevent cancer recurrence in the lung, liver and other tissues. It is usually recommended for younger women where the breast lump was larger than 2cm at time of diagnosis or if the cancer also involved the lymph glands in the armpits. The exact choice of drugs will depend on the person's general health and other medical illnesses, and the stage of the cancer. Chemotherapy is given over 4 to 6 months. There is usually mild nausea or vomiting, hair loss, lethargy or tiredness, and loss of appetite. Most women will be able to carry on working during this period.
If the breast cancer was especially large, more than 5 cm at time of diagnosis, chemotherapy is given to shrink the tumor before surgery is performed.
Since breast cancer is hormone dependant, hormone treatment may have an effect on certain types of breast cancer. So in older women and women who have reached menopause, tamoxifen may be prescribed.
Radiotherapy may be given in addition to hormone therapy or chemotherapy.
In certain medical centers, high dose chemotherapy and bone marrow transplantation or peripheral stem cell rescue is offered as an experimental option after surgery to try to prolong survival in women considered to have an extremely high risk of cancer recurrence.
Advanced Breast Cancer
Breast cancer may spread to the lungs, liver, bones and even the brain, either at the time of diagnosis or years after the original breast cancer had been removed. Treatment options involve hormone therapy, chemotherapy, surgery or radiotherapy. Treatment is very individualized and involves decision making by the surgeon, and radiation and medical oncologists.
Prognosis of Breast Cancer
Clinical examinations, x-rays and pathology reports all help the medical team decide what the progress of an individual case of breast cancer may be. Then, the appropriate course of treatment will be put into action. The treatment strategy will vary from person to person. With prompt and appropriate treatment, the outlook for a person with breast cancer is good.
The doctor looks for the following features:
·The size of the breast lump. The larger the lump, the more likely the cancer will recur. Size also determines if the breast lump can be operated on.
·The number of the lymph glands in the armpit involved. Women with more than 10 lymph glands affected have a fairly high chance of the cancer recurring. High dose chemotherapy and bone marrow transplantation or peripheral stem cell rescue may be offered as an experimental option after surgery to try to prolong survival.
·High-risk features such as involvement of the blood vessels or lymph channels in the mastectomy specimen.
Frequently Asked Questions about Breast Cancer
If I have a mammogram regularly, will I be exposed to too much radiation? Radiation exposure from modern mammogram equipment is minimal. It is far more dangerous not to detect breast cancer in its earliest stages.
I have a lump in my breast. I am frightened to see the doctor in case it is cancer. No matter how you feel you should see your family doctor as soon as possible. The great majority of breast lumps are not cancerous.
My mother/ aunt died of breast cancer. Am I likely to get breast cancer too? A small proportion of breast cancer is linked to factors that can be. Women whose parent, sibling or child had breast cancer may themselves have a 50% risk of contracting the disease. You may not necessarily get breast cancer but you have a greater chance than a woman who does not have a family history of breast cancer. Most family doctors or hospitals will provide information on breast self-examination and mammograms.
I have been diagnosed with breast cancer. Will I get better? Many women who have had breast cancer live a normal lifespan. Present treatments offer a good prognosis but you may need several types of treatment to prevent recurrence of the cancer.
Will I have to have a mastectomy? This depends on the size, position and type of your breast cancer as well as the size of your breast. You should discuss this option with your surgeon.
Does radiotherapy or chemotherapy cause disfigurement and long-term damage? It is uncommon for women to experience permanent unpleasant side effects and damage from modern radiotherapy techniques. Most chemotherapy side effects are short-lived, although it may not seem so at that time. Nausea and vomiting are controlled in most patients. Hair loss is not universal, although you may require a temporary wig. Your periods may disappear during chemotherapy and they often return when you complete chemotherapy. However, for women in their late 30s and 40s, menopause may occur early.
After a Mastectomy
A mastectomy will be carried out depending on the size, position and type of the breast cancer as well as the size of the breast. Some women do better cosmetically with a mastectomy rather than just the removal of the breast lump.
Breast Reconstruction
Breast reconstruction is an operation to create a new breast in place of the breast which has been removed. This procedure does not affect breast cancer survival or treatment and can be performed at the same time as the mastectomy or at a later date. Most women who have had a mastectomy can opt for reconstruction. Age is not a limiting factor. The breast can be reconstructed using an implant, such as silicone, or tissue from the patient's own body.

Stage 4 Colon Cancer - Even At This Stage There's Still Hope For Stage 4 Colon Cancer
When it is found that the cancer has spread to other parts of the body, this is known as stage 4 colon cancer. By this stage, the cancer has made its way into the lymph node system and can also be found in other locations which might include the liver, lungs, bones and even the brain. Depending on the extent and the location of the stage 4 colon cancer spread, it is still possible for people to past the average of five years. Overall, however, the outlook for stage 4 is not very bright.
There are a few medical procedures treatments which can be introduced when stage 4 colon cancer is diagnosed. These can help to lessen the symptoms and sometimes reduce the size of any tumors present in the body. If these tumors are in an area of the body where they can be removed, then surgery is sometimes performed. Chemotherapy and radiation therapy, too, are often called for.
Since stage 4 colon cancer is not something anyone wants to end up with, prevention is often considered paramount. A few things people can do to help avoid this cancer are:
Reduce their risks. Whilst not all risk factors can be eliminated, some can. Smoking, too much alcohol and the consumption of a high fat, low fiber diet are all risk factors that can be greatly reduced by simply changing lifestyle habits. Other risk factors are involved that can be addressed on a personal level. These include obesity and the lack of exercise.
Submit to regular screening. Unless risk factors are considered high and require the need for early screening procedures, a routine for screening is normally worked into the regular checkup protocol starting around the age of 50. Both men and women are prone to colon cancer, and so to help reduce the advancement to stage 4 colon cancer, both can expect to have their physicians making appointments for screening exams every few years.
The symptoms of colon cancer do not generally appear until the later stages so working to reduce the risks and regular screening tests are often seen as the best lines of defense. By making these two things a priority in life, the chances of stage 4 colon cancer from forming can be greatly reduced.
No matter which way you look at it, stage 4 colon cancer is not good, but this doesn't mean that all hope has to come to an end. With the proper treatment and care, there is every chance that a person can beat the average five-year survival rate. Without a doubt, the combination of preventative measures and regular screening are the best steps to take to help avoid this situation all together. While these are no guarantee, they do reduce the chances for the advancement to stage 4 colon cancer.

Bleeding After Menopause Does Not Always Mean Cancer Growth
Its common belief that Bleeding after menopause does mean cancer growth but its not true. But there is possibility of cancer in womb. If there is any abnormal bleeding after menopauses, then you have to check it whether it is happening because of cancer growth. Even if you have smell or pain in vagina, then you have to consult your doctor.
Normally post menopause bleeding will occur due to some other gynecological problems. So you need not fear that there is always a chance of cancer. Mostly the post menopause bleeding is because of hormone imbalance. Women who undertake hormone replacement therapy may experience this problem frequently. Lack of estrogen causes dryness in the lining of the uterine and the blood vessels in uterine breaks down and cause bleeding.
Polyps and fibroids may also cause post menopause bleeding. While polyps causes light bleeding, fibroids causes heavy bleeding that requires treatment immediately. Sometimes any over growth in the uterine lining may also cause bleeding. And 20 % of such growth may be because of cancer.
If the patient is suffering from excessive bleeding after menopause, then the examination of the pelvis region including vagina and cervix is a must. A Doctor will examine her by passing a small tube device through the cervix. The doctor may also ash her to take a complete scan of uterine. Treatment will be given after examining her past medical report. If she had taken any hormone replacement therapy or if she had any fibroids then the doctor will give her treatment accordingly. If the bleeding is caused because of any cancer growth in the uterine, advanced treatment will be given including surgery.
Menopause bleeding may occur due to hysterectomy. Nearly 6, 00,000 hysterectomies are performed in US every year. If you do not have your menstrual cycle for more than one year, then only you will be considered that you are undergoing menopause. Sometimes you may have irregular periods. So you need not confuse that menstrual cycle not happening within 28 cycles as menopause.
Ovary cancer may lead bleeding after menopause. This requires surgical treatment including removal of the ovary. Even mental stress, strain, weight loss or weight gain suddenly may cause post menopause bleeding. Consuming more pills or sexual intercourse may also cause bleeding. If you have post menopause bleeding or more than two weeks and if the bleeding is heavy that you require changing your pad every 1 hour, then you must consult your doctor immediately.

Green Tea Great For Fighting Colon Cancer
The new research was unveiled at the Sixth Annual Conference on Frontiers in Cancer Prevention which was held by the American Association for Cancer Research.
The research shows that a polyphenol preparation made from green tea (called Polyphenon E) inhibits the growth of colorectal tumors in rats when they are also being treated with something that causes the tumors.
Colorectal tumors happen when colon cancer is growing. So when Polyphenon E stops the growth of the tumors, it is stopping the spread of colon cancer. It has not been done in humans yet, but it reveal yet another health benefit of green tea.
The researchers say that rats eating a diet containing Polyphenon E are "less than half as likely" to suffer the spread of colon cancer. These results confirm those from a study done in China showing that green tea caused lower rates of cancer.
A number of other studies have also concluded successfully that green tea suppresses cancer growth. How does it do it? By the powerful effects of its main antioxidant, epigallocatechin 3-gallate, also known as EGCg.
Free radicals are molecules which can roam free in the body and damage healthy cells. They can damage your DNA so you no longer produce the same healthy cells, but you now produce only damaged cells.
If you drink large amounts of alcohol or smoke tobacco your body will suffer a greater number of free radicals roaming about inside it. Your natural defense against free radicals is antioxidants like those found in green tea.
The EGCg found in green tea is a particularly powerful antioxidant when it comes to fighting free radicals. It is 100 times more powerful than Vitamin C, 25 times more powerful than Vitamin E, and twice as powerful as resveratrol, the antioxidant found in red wine.
Green tea is considered effective in preventing and curing from other types of disease too. Rheumatoid arthritis is a common one that green tea fights while it is trying to develop.
Another couple of big killers green tea can help put to rest are high cholesterol levels and cardiovascular disease. Green tea is also helpful in weight loss, although for weight loss oolong tea is more effective.
Diabetes is another disease becoming much more common. Green tea can help stifle the development of diabetes. And Alzheimer's disease is becoming more popular with many people in the West aging. Green tea fights Alzheimer's.
And there is yet another health benefit of green tea that does not involve one of the well-known and deadly diseases but it yet a quite important measure of prevention. Green tea helps fight tooth decay, killing the plaque which is always trying to grow on your teeth.
Just like it kills plaque, green tea kills the bacteria which could lead to food poisoning, protecting you from yet another threat to your health. And green tea is good for the skin, preventing acne as well as improving the appearance of the skin.
When you are sealed you begin to notice the wonders of God's Creation. He gave you green tea to help your body fight against a multitude of diseases. You will begin to notice this and other wonders of His creation when you receive the Seal.

ABOUT CERVICAL CANCER
Cervical cancer is the formation of abnormal cells on the lining of the cervix. Normally as cells grow they divide, the old cells die, and new cells replace them. When the normal process by which cells divide goes wrong, masses of tissue known as tumors begin to grow. Benign tumors are not life threatening and normally can easily be removed permanently. They usually stay in one location and do not normally spread to other parts of the body. However, some tumors are malignant; these are the ones that are a lot more serious as they have the possibility of spreading and growing at alarming rates if not caught early. They are life threatening and can be removed but sometimes grow again. When these malignant tumors occur, they are known as cancer.
Risk factors that can contribute to the possibility of developing cervical cancer are infections. The main infection that causes cervical cancer is the human papillomavirus, These are common viruses that are extremely contagious. It is estimated that most adults have at one time in their lives been infected with HPV because of coming into sexual contact with another person with the virus. It can cause changes to the cervix that will eventually turn into cancer, warts, or other uncomfortable and unpleasant problems. A weakened immune system will have the same affect n the cervix or women who have had many partners have a higher level of risk than those who have not. Sometimes normal aging is a factor, usually occurring in women over age 40.
Cancer that spreads from its place of origin to another part of the body the new tumor is identical to the original cell and therefore the cancer is the same no matter what part of the body it has spread to. For example: if a woman has cervical cancer that has spread to her breast we would not call this breast cancer but we would say that the cervical cancer cells are located in her breast. It would be treated as cervical cancer and not breast cancer. If a woman has symptoms arising from cervical cancer then she waited much too long. Regular screenings for cervical cancer is imperative as the cells can be prevented from forming into cervical cancer way before symptoms begin. Today the number of cases in the U.S. has been falling thanks to screening and early detection. Doctors recommend that regular PaP smear test are performed to find cervical cancer or abnormal cells that lead to cancer of the cervix. Early detection is the way to preventing this kind of cancer, it is treatable with a high rate of success, so get tested regularly to prevent this from becoming a big problem. It is hard to prevent diseases without living in fear, but as long as you are observant of signs, you will be able to reduce the risk of mortality.

HIFU treatment : The Best Option for Prostate Cancer
Doctors can tell you all day, about how great their services are. Listen to Jim’s story. If a product or a service Is good enough, you won’t have to talk about it, your customers will.
Hi, my name is Jim. I live in Phoenix, Arizona. Here is my HIFU treatment story:
When my prostate specialist informed me that the biopsy for prostate cancer had come back positive, everyone kept telling me how easily cured I would be. Prostate cancer, if found early enough, is indeed, highly curable. What they don’t tell you is the details concerning the operation itself or the side effects with which you will have to live.
A person has five choices for treatment of prostate cancer in the United States. They are: watchful waiting, radical prostatectomy, seeds, radiation, or hormones. Each has considerable drawbacks. Who wants to live with cancer and be constantly monitored by a prostate specialist? Radical prostatectomy, while highly effective, often leaves the patient incontinent and impotent unless he is lucky enough to have insurance that will pay for nerve sparing surgery. Recovery takes a considerable amount of time. Implanted seeds mean the patient is full of radioactivity, and if they are not properly placed, they can affect bowel and bladder function. Who needs that? Radiation, while more perfected than previously, leaves one unable to ejaculate, possibly impotent, and once done, the patient is not a candidate for other treatments if the cancer returns. Hormones have their own side effects and require continuous monitoring.
My wife and I never even considered watchful waiting, hormones, or radical prostatectomy, so those were off the list immediately. We began to look for the best possible cure with the least amount of side effects that would alter my quality of life.
The first prostate specialist I saw recommended the seeds. He made the whole procedure sound like a walk in the park. We agreed and were ready to leave when he filled me in on the details. I wouldn’t be able to work or ride a bike for a considerable period of time. I would have to stay away from my small grandchildren because I would be radioactive. I probably would not be able to have an erection. I should consider the possibility of bowel or bladder involvement which might leave me incontinent or worse. Wow! This is a walk in the park?
We researched radiation on the computer and discovered that while it did not have the down-time of the seeds, it was an irreversible decision. When we saw a radiologist, he explained that I would probably not be able to ejaculate, and I would not be able to have further treatment if the cancer was not completely gone, because the damage to surrounding tissues would not allow the skin to hold together during surgery. A radical prostatectomy would not be an option if future treatment was needed. Nevertheless, I decided on this procedure and had scheduled an appointment to begin treatment when my wife said, “Hold off. Call these people about the HIFU treatment.”
The more we read and learned about HIFU treatment, the more convinced we were that it was the best option. I sent my records from my disapproving prostate specialists here in the U.S., the folks at the HIFU treatment facility made all the arrangements for my airfare, my hotel, and my stay in Puerto Vallarta, and I was on my way to Mexico. The hotel was beautiful, the scenery was magnificent, and the procedure went like clockwork. The HIFU treatment personnel picked me up at my hotel, took me to the American Hospital, which was clean and staffed by HIFU employees, and in a few hours, I was on my way back to the hotel. We flew home the day after the procedure, and I was back at work in a week with no pain, no surgery, no radiation, no hormones, and no down-time.
The only downside was having a catheter for twenty-one days, but that passed quickly and really didn’t interfere with my life. I found a prostate specialist here in the valley that was willing to monitor my progress, and it seemed that each week I saw improvement. The urinary frequency which was caused by my enlarged prostate, has dramatically improved. My wife laughs and says I am no longer hunting for the nearest restroom when we are out shopping. My sex life is back to about what it was before; sometimes great and sometimes just so-so. Hey, I’m seventy-one. I didn’t expect miracles.
I was worried about the cost of the procedure, but when one considers the positive results, the price can’t be beat. People spend forty and fifty thousand dollars on cars and never blink an eye about the cost. This procedure saved my life, got rid of my cancer, and made it possible for me to retain the life-style I was enjoying before the diagnosis.
It has now been a little over three months since I went to Mexico. My prostate specialist here in the valley says everything looks great and pronounced me free of cancer. I had my first PSA result two weeks ago. It was 0.6. How cool is that?"

Pancreas Cancer: Get The Facts About Pancreas Cancer
Pancreas cancer is one of the worst forms of cancer available, yet the facts of this condition are barely known. While many other diseases, including other types of cancer are widely known, and highly publicized, the same is not true of this form of cancer. There are however some facts about pancreas cancer that should be known.
One fact about pancreas cancer that is not widely known, but should be known is the sheer amount of people who face this condition every year. In the United States alone, its been estimated that over 30,000 people are diagnosed with pancreas cancer every year. What is surprising is that many people not only do not know this fact, but aren’t even sure of what pancreas cancer is. That figure itself has been debated a little, with some arguing that the number is closer to 25-27,000 cases each year. Another little known fact about pancreas cancer is that over 60,000 cases are diagnosed in Europe every year.
The fact is that pancreas cancer is found most often in highly industrialized countries. Europe and the United States alone have far more cases diagnosed than any other area of the world. This could relate to another fact regarding pancreas cancer, which is what causes this type of cancer. One belief is that the disease is caused by those who work around carcinogens and other chemicals, for extended periods of time.
When it comes to pancreas cancer, facts about its causes are not well known because experts are unsure of what causes it. Instead they have identified certain risk factors that contribute to the cancer, but there is no one cause that leads some to develop it and others not to. One of those factors is cigarette smokers. One sad fact relating to pancreas cancer is that over 50% of people who die from complications relating to their disease, are cigarette smokers. Experts have recorded this astounding pancreas cancer fact while pointing out that those patients who stop smoking for five years or more, are much more likely to not develop the cancer.
Another one of the facts relating to pancreas cancer is that many people who suffer from the disease are not diagnosed until the disease has significantly progressed. Some of the symptoms relating to this disease are ones that are also found with other diseases. Symptoms range from depression and a loss of appetite, to a sharp pain in the stomach and the beginnings of jaundice. There have even been cases of patients going through an appendectomy only to later learn they suffered from pancreatic cancer.
Pancreas cancer facts are not well known in our society. Many people feel the disease is something that only happens to older people, and is something that they do not have to worry about. The sad truth is that anyone can find themselves developing pancreas cancer, regardless of their age, lifestyle, previous health, or sex. The only thing that can be done is to share some of the facts and statistics, and hope that more people become aware of the disease.

Holistic and Non-Traditional Cures for Cancer
Holistic and Non-Traditional approaches to Cure Cancer
Holistic and non-traditional treatment looks at disease as primarily resulting from internal imbalance. Non-traditional therapies are unconventional, unproven therapies that reject conventional treatments. While holistic therapies are used in combination with standard medical care and given by licensed or certified therapists.
Non-Traditional Cancer Treatments
Non-traditional therapies are used instead of conventional cancer treatments. Many of the most popular non-traditional therapies are including psychosocial such as relaxation practice, meditation and visual imagery are unlikely to pose threats to patients' health. Besides these, there are certain important therapies such as,
* Acupuncture: It is a technique of insertion of filiform needles into acupuncture points with an intension to restore the health and well-being.
* Aromatherapy: It is the therapeutic use of aromatic essential oils to promote physical and psychological well-being.
* Magnetotherapy: This therapy used by the application of magnets to the surface of the patient's body. It is used to stimulate the recovery of the whole metabolism and reduce the deficiency of bone mineral substance.
* Coffee enemas: These are the quick ways to remove toxins from the colon and body. A non-traditional doctor, or physician should only perform them under supervision.
The other non-traditional therapies are, Cellular Therapy, Diet therapy, Herbal Therapy, Psychic Surgery, Shark cartilage therapy.
Holistic Cancer Treatments
An increasing number of health professionals are now exploring holistic cancer treatment options that encompass the whole individual, where the traditional treatment options form only art of the story.
* Nutrition Therapy: Maintaining a healthy diet is the best way to provide the body with the nourishment it needs to fight cancer.
* Naturopathy: It focuses only on using the healing powers of nature such as air, water and sunlight.
* Pain Control: To certain extent medication can be used to manage pain. The pain could be brought on by the cancer itself or as its side effects.
* Zeolite: It is a fast and powerful mineral substance with the ability to destroy cancer cells. They improve the alkalinity of the body and activate the P21 gene that can destroy the nucleus of cancerous cells.
* Oxygen Therapy: It is a form of holistic treatment based upon the premise that all harmful bacteria, germs and viruses are anaerobic. They cannot resist in high oxygen environments. To maintain good health and vitality, the human body requires a rich supply of oxygen.
Thus, holistic and non-traditional treatment approaches from several angles to cure cancer and suggests that a person should not only treat the illness but also have to reach a higher level of wellness.
A Better Choice Foundation supports the search for a cure for cancer, emphasizing a non- traditional, holistic approach to a patient's Physical and emotional well-being. Skin Cancer Treatment Tips
They usually form on the head, face, neck, hands and arms. Skin cancer is most closely associated with chronic inflammation of the skin. Sunburn or excessive sun damage, especially early in life. UVA & UVB have both been involved in causing DNA damage resulting in cancer. Chronic non-healing wounds, especially burns.
Treatment for skin cancer and the precancerous skin lesions known as actinic keratoses varies, depending on the size, type, depth and location of the lesions. The best ways to lower the risk of non-melanoma skin cancer are to avoid intense sunlight for long periods of time and to practice sun safety. For low-risk disease, radiation therapy and cryotherapy (freezing the cancer off) can provide adequate control of the disease; both, however, have lower overall cure rates than surgery.
Interferon and interleukin-2 are under study to treat melanoma and nonmelanoma skin cancers. Wear sunglasses with 99% to 100% UV absorption to provide optimal protection for the eyes and the surrounding skin. Wearing protective clothing (long sleeves and hats) when outdoors. Photodynamic therapy destroys skin cancer cells with a combination of laser light and drugs that makes cancer cells sensitive to light. Avoid other sources of UV light. Tanning beds and sun lamps are dangerous because they can damage your skin. Avoid the sun between 10 a.m. and 4 p.m. Radiation may destroy basal and squamous cell carcinomas if surgery isn't an option. Reapply sun block every 2 hours and after swimming. In chemotherapy, drugs are used to kill cancer cells.
Skin Cancer Treatment and Prevention Tips
1. Radiation may destroy basal and squamous cell carcinomas.
2. Reducing exposure to ultraviolet (UV) radiation, especially in early years.
3. Avoiding sun exposure during the day (usually from 10 AM to 3 PM).
4. Wearing protective clothing (long sleeves and hats) when outdoors.
5. Using a broad-spectrum sunscreen that blocks both UVA and UVB radiation.
6. Wear sunglasses with 99% to 100% UV absorption to provide optimal protection for the eyes.
